Montacargas Zapler of Peru (Zapler) is Link-Belt’s new South American distributor

Material handling equipment distributor, Montacargas Zapler of Peru (Zapler), has been named as Link-Belt’s new South American distributor.

The first Link-Belt crane to be sold by Zapler was a 65 US ton (58 tonne) RTC-8065 Series II. The crane has been shipped to Sergear SAC and will be working on a Southern Peru copper expansion project, a company spokesperson said.

Corey Rogers, Link-Belt Latin American regional sales manager, said, “We are very excited about our new partnership with Zapler as our distributor for the country of Peru. Demand for cranes is steadily increasing all throughout Peru as a result of this booming economy and Zapler’s knowledge of lifting technologies and dedication to customer service and support were key factors in our decision to partner with them. We look forward to a growing presence in Peru over the coming months.”
