LiuGong has 40 different models of electric equipment available including excavators, wheeled loaders, skid steer loaders, motor graders, rollers and mining trucks.

The OEM started work on electric equipment in 2014 and in 2018 launched its first generation of electric equipment.

At the press conference Chairman Zeng said that the total cost of ownership of electric construction equipment had reduced by 50-70% over the last five years in China and that he expected this to decrease further in the future.

He added that China is the world’s largest market and producer of battery electric vehicles and that exports of these machines rose by 70% in 2023 to reach US$34 billion.
