M&T Expo to go ahead in July 2021

M&T Expo, the largest construction exhibition in South America, will go ahead as planned on 5-8 July 2021, according to the organiser Messe München.

The show, which is held in partnership with Brazilian construction equipment association Sobratema, will be held at the São Paulo Expo convention center.

The organiser said it was anticipating a successful event because in 2020, even during the pandemic, sales of heavy machinery to the construction and mining sector were 20% higher than last year. 

According to Sobratema, in 2021 sales of earthmoving equipment are expected to grow 20% in Brazil, with the total construction equipment market expected to see a 25% increase.

This will be the 11th M&T Expo and the second to be organised by Messe München. The show will be divided into four sectors: construction and mining equipment; concrete and asphalt; lifting equipment; and components, parts and services.
