Magni's first HTH 27.11 in the steel sector goes to Franchini Acciai in Italy.

Franchini Acciai has purchased a Magni HTH 27.11 telehandler.

Based in Italy, Franchini Acciai is a leading steel forging company for a range of products like ship parts, oil and gas structures, energy plants and elements for the nuclear and petrochemical industry. It has a capacity of 50,000 a year.

This is the first time an HTH 27.11 has been acquired by the steel industry. It was sold through Magni dealer TS Macchine Industriali, covering the Italian regions of Brescia, Bergamo, Cremona and Mantova.

The machine has a total weight of 35,500 kg and lift capacity of 27 tonnes. It can reach 10.85 m height with a capacity of 14,000 kg and can lift 7,000 kg at the maximum outreach of 6.60 m.

It can be equipped with a 204 hp Mercedes OM924 LA euro 4 Interim engine and has Rexroth hydrostatic transmission with 2 speeds - forward everse.

It is equipped with a pressurised cab with air filtration feature for working in polluted or dusty environments. Moreover the dimensions of the HTH 27.11 have been designed to provide optimal maneuverability in tight spaces. The manufacturer claims it is the most compact on the market with a maximum length of 7.54 m and a turning radius of 9.15 m at the end of forks.
