Max Bögl invests in Liebherr

Crane rental service provider Max Bögl in Germany has taken delivery of its third Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 mobile crane.

The LTM 11200-9.1 has a capacity of 1,200 tonnes and boasts a 100 metre boom. Configured with a full luffing jib the crane has a hoist height of 188 m.

It is the sixth Liebherr mobile crane delivered to Max Bögl in 2014. Peter Guttenberger, Max Bögl director of transport and machines, said, “We particularly use our LTM 11200 9.1 in the wind power industry. They are perfect for erecting hybrid towers.”

Two more 100 tonne capacity LTR 1100 telescopic crawler cranes have also been ordered and will be delivered in the first half of 2015, a company spokesperson added.
