Merlo UK re-appoints Parkway as dealer

After a break of several years Merlo UK Ltd has re-appointed Parkway Plant Sales Ltd as the main dealer for telehandler products in the Manchester area.

Parkway Plant sales director, Ian Wood, said, "We were formed in 1999 with the support of a civil engineering company and today are one of a small group of companies under the Westgate Holdings banner, which offer a range of plant related services. We are delighted to be able to add the Merlo brand to our portfolio, which already consists of the market leading brands of mini excavators, rollers and tracked dumpers."

Parkway Plant said it is a customer focused business and has an excellent record on retaining customers. Merlo UK's general sales manager, Glyn Stanton, acknowledges the importance of strong customer support in the area, "Parkway were Merlo dealers some time ago, and have retained a lot of product knowledge and skills. They have an enviable reputation for service and parts support with their current products, and we look forward to a bright future together".
