Mikschl Autokrane updates fleet

Germany-based Mikschl Autokrane has replaced its Demag AC 40 city crane with the new AC 45 City.

The company intends to use the crane primarily for indoor jobs

“It’s a rotation of sorts,” said Roland Mikschl, manager director at the Aichach-based crane service provider. He picked up the new crane in person at the Demag factory in Zweibrücken from Tadano Demag sales manager Hans Asam.

“We use the City primarily for indoor jobs – it’s unbeatable there thanks to its compact design and versatility. With the runner in particular, it can tackle lifts that would simply be impossible for many other cranes.”

Mikschl intends to use the crane not only for indoor jobs but also steel and timber construction assembly projects and prefabs.

Rotation motion

The rotation approach has proven to be the right choice for the Bavarian crane business. The company had already traded a “used model for a new model” some time ago with the AC 100-4L, which is a mainstay of the Mikschl fleet together with an AC 220-5.
