MOBA, the UK-based provider of machine control systems for the waste logistics and construction industry, has launched the MCA-500 machine control system for compactors, which can be used for both earthworking and road construction.

Previewed at Plantworx 2015, the new ‘small system for big jobs’ is a simple and economical solution for compactors in which progress is shown in real-time on the display, so the driver can see all the important information during the compaction process, such as the ICV (Intelligent Compaction Value), the vibration frequency, the amplitude and jump, and over- and under-compaction are avoided.
