Transport company Svanevik Transport & Utleie from Bergen in Norway has added four new Effer cranes to its fleet.

The new cranes include two 955 CroSStab and two 685 HD truck mounted cranes. The cranes were distributed by ARKA, the Effer Distributor in Norway.

Speaking on the 955 CroSStab, Tommy Svanevik from Svanevik Transport said, "The Wind and Drive system is a great solution on the 955: you can close the crane without disassembling everything for each use. This makes it much faster and the life of the crane is much longer because it lets you work with very little boom extension using primarily the jib and the slewing. "

The transport company has got one of the largest fleets of Effer cranes in Europe.
