Powered access rental business Nationwide Platforms has been accredited with the Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Services' (OHSAS) 18001 mark for all its UK operations.

The OHSAS 18001 is an international standard awarded to businesses demonstrating robust and consistent systems for occupational health and safety management. Designed to promote a safe and healthy working environment, the 18001 Standard requires businesses to establish frameworks to identify and reduce health and safety risks, diminish the potential for accidents, comply with legislation and improve overall business performance through enhanced safety systems.

Nationwide Platforms also holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications for quality and environmental management and in 2012 has also achieved the RoSPA Gold, the Construction Health and Safety Group's Beaumont Trophy and the Contribution to Safe Working at Height award at the International Awards for Powered Access.
