Five representatives from Nationwide Platforms will take part in the Lavendon Group Cycle Challenge in September, cycling between Alpen, Germany and Lutterworth, UK, to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

The five riders - Geoff Garner, Richie Jones, Diane Grundy, Graham Sharp and Paul Bauer - will cycle 490 miles (790 km) to raise money for their chosen charity of the year. Volunteer support drivers, Karen Moulds and Sam Hutchings, will support the team.

The UK team are looking to raise as much sponsorship as possible to go towards this great cause and are looking for donations through the Lavendon Group Plc page on Just Giving. To encourage donors to pledge their support, Nationwide Platforms will give away one of the high-specification, specialized road bikes that are being used by the team, worth more than £500.
