International Equipment Solutions (IES), new owner of Paladin Brands, has appointed Stephen Andrews as its new chief executive officer. He joins the company from Pettibone LLC, where he was president and CEO.

IES was established last year to act as holding company for the Paladin Brands and Crenlo acquisitions made by KPS Captial Partners (see D&Ri, Sept-Oct 2011, p5 for more information). At the time of the acquisition, KPS partner Raquel Palmer said of future plans: "We intend to grow IES aggressively both organically and through acquisition in North America and globally."

Stephen echoed this in a statement issued concerning his appointment: "I am thrilled to lead International Equipment Solutions. IES's acquisitions of Paladin and Crenlo are just the first steps in the creation of an international engineered equipment manufacturer with leading brands and a strong reputation for quality, durability, delivery, support and continual product innovation. I look forward to working with the Paladin and Crenlo associates to provide our customer base with world-class service, and to grow IES worldwide both organically and through acquisitions."
