German rental company HKL has opened a new depot, which will focus on stocking machines in the compact class, as well as small appliances and tools.

Hkl new depot

HKL’s new depot opened on 2 January.

Located in the north of North Rhine-Westphalia, HKL’s new depot will also have a workshop for machine repair. It has an outside area of 2,000m2, and the range of equipment stocked includes wheeled loaders, mini and compact excavators, dumpers, compaction machines such as vibratory plates, rammers and small rollers, and tools.

HKL said the choice of equipment stocked at the depot, named HKL Center Rheine, was down to the demand and needs of customers in that area.

Frank Seidler, HKL managing director, said, “We are further expanding our network to create more proximity to the customer.

“With the new HKL Center Rheine, we are opening up the region around Lingen and Meppen and are even more accessible for construction companies from the Emsland and Ostfriesland for the future.”
