Managing directors Matthias Burkel and Karl-Heinz Traa perform the grand unveiling at Bauma

German-based coupling manufacturer Lehnhoff is exhibiting at Bauma for the first time since the Komatsu takeover and the new management team braved the weather to unveil the company’s new symmetrical quickcoupler at the show this week.

Karl-Heinz Traa, who is managing director responsible for sales and marketing, joined Matthias Burkel (production and engineering) for the official product launch. Together with Michael Koenig (finance and administration), they head up the new management structure at Lehnhoff, which became effective at the start of 2016.

The symmetrical quickcoupler comes in three versions – mechanical, hydro-mechanical and fully hydraulic. Also being promoted at Bauma was the company’s Lehmatic Control System, developed to secure the locking process of the hydraulically operated quickcoupler and prevent any unintentional coupling or unwanted release of the attachment.
