New managing director for Bosch Rexroth Alastair Johnstone

Bosch Rexroth has appointed Alastair Johnstone as managing director in the UK. In his new role Johnstone will have business responsibility for all locations in the UK. He will continue to be responsible for the manufacturing sector.

Johnstone first joined Bosch Rexroth in 1998 and has worked in a number of senior management positions. He has experience in manufacturing and general management. In his previous role Johnstone was responsible for a site in Glenrothes, in Fife, Scotland, where hydraulic motors for vehicles and mobile plant equipment were manufactured. The facility has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for outstanding achievement in international trade twice.

Spekaing on his new role, Johnstone said, “I am delighted to have been appointed and I look forward to working with the dedicated team who service our UK customer base.”
