The range-topping 300 tonne capacity Sennebogen 7700 Star Lifter lattice boom crawler crane will be new at Bauma 2010.

Its maximum boom and jib combination length of 148 m is from 74 m main boom plus 74 m fly jib.

Target applications run from installation of heavy pre-cast concrete sections through placing high roof elements to preliminary assembly in the offshore sector.

Benefits include rapid set-up and a lack of unnecessary over-engineering, which means good performance with straightforward solutions and maximum availability, Sennebogen says.

For easy transport the upper carriage has a transport width of 3 m and weighs 40 tonnes. Similarly, the boom system can be loaded into containers thanks to its 2,420 mm maximum width.
