In pride of place in the lifting equipment section of the XCMG stand at the recent BICES exhibition in China was the SQ16SK5Q truck crane (pictured in yellow). The crane has a 16,000 kg maximum lifting capacity and a maximum lifting moment of 40 tonne-metres. The crane weighs 6,200 kg and the upper five-section boom has continuous slewing.

Also on display at the show in Beijing last month was the new Yutong YTSQ16 truck crane. The new model has a load moment rating of 400 kN-metres and a maximum lifting capacity of 16,000 kg. Rotation is 360 degrees, maximum working radius is 14.3 m and maximum working height is 17.5 m. Yutong is based in Zhengzhou.
