Werner has launched a pair of new stepladders: the Builders and Box Section Extension models.

The Builders stepladder, available in swingback and platform versions, is manufactured from heavy duty aluminium and offer slip-resistant treads with full width anti-slip coating.

It includes a compact footprint enabling users to get closer to their work, an increased horn height to improve usability and safety by encouraging a steady climbing rhythm and several features designed to give a smoother profile including plastic top caps, a new spreader design and intelligent positioning of bracing.

The product is available in a range of sizes; 4-14 treads for the swingback and 4-12 treads for the platform model, is fully certified to BS 2037 Class 1 and has a duty rating of 130 kg. The largest platform model in the range offers an impressive reach height of 4.18 m.

The Box Section Extension ladder is available in double and triple sections and in closed lengths from 1.85 m to 4.09 m, offering reach heights of 3.6 m to 10.62 m. The new ladders feature slip resistant ‘D’ rungs, which increase user comfort when standing on the ladders for extended periods, said the company.

The model also features manually-operated locking catches which prevent the sections separating, during use and transportation. The ladder is fully certified to BS EN131.
