Riwal, the aerial work platform and telehandler rental specialist, has appointed Pat Witte as senior manager global accounts, charged with expanding Riwal’s international business.

Mr Witte has worked in senior sales roles, managing major accounts, at companies including Genie, JLG and Himoinsa. His main responsibility at Riwal will be to further expand the company’s business internationally through the development of global accounts for sales and rental opportunities.

Mr Witte has been based for much of his career in the Washington DC area. Riwal said he would not be based at a particular Riwal office and will be travelling widely.

The Netherlands-based company currently has operations in 18 countries in four continents, though not yet in North America.

Riwal CEO Norty Turner said: “We are very pleased that Pat is joining us. He has more than 20 years of experience in developing international business in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

“Riwal has a strong global reach and Pat is the right choice to support our growth ambitions with key accounts operating on an international scale.”
