Alasdair Stables takes on the role of managing director for Peri in the UK

Alasdair Stables as been appointed UK managing director of scaffolding and formwork provider Peri UK.

Mr Stables joins Peri from Tarmac where he held a number of senior roles, most recently as commercial director for the South East region. Prior to that, he was regional operations director responsible for the safe and efficient production of some of the UK’s largest and most complex concrete, asphalt and aggregate sites.

Mr Stables has also led Tarmac’s national Technical Centre and is president of the Concrete Society.

Peri has just completed a large-scale expansion of production facilities at its main plant in Weissenhorn, Germany. Carl Heathcote, Peri Northern Europe and North America managing director, added: “We are delighted that Alasdair is joining the team to lead our UK business. Over the last 15 years Peri has firmly established itself as the UK’s preferred formwork systems provider and Alasdair fits perfectly with Peri's approach."
