Pieter Jansen has left Rental Service Europe (RSE) and joined US-based General Equipment Company as European sales manager.

Mr Jansen will be responsible for the development and coordination of sales and marketing activities for General Equipment throughout Europe.

Family-owned General Equipment produces earth augers, ventilation blowers, asphalt cutters and surface preparation equipment.

Rental Service Europe (RSE), which began operations in mid-2011, will continue to sell light construction equipment under director and owner André Stammis.

Mr Jansen brings to General Equipment more than 32 years of experience in the construction equipment and equipment rental markets, most recently in sales roles with RSE and before that Brendon Powerwashers.

“Pieter will be a major asset as we look to increase our presence in Europe,” said Dennis Von Ruden, president of General Equipment Company.

“We’re dedicated to hiring the highest level of talent, and his experience will be key to introducing our quality products to new markets.”
