ABS supplied ten of the company's submersible sewage pumps as well as accessories to help with the construction of a hydroelectric dam in Canada.

The company said that delivery of the pumps (J 604) and other equipment was completed in half the expected delivery time.

The dam construction is located in Peribonka, Northern Quebec, and is conducted by Hyrdo Quebec. The finished dam will be 80 m high and 700 m wide, producing 2.2 TWh of electricity a year. The ABS pumps are used in the dewatering of a cofferdam, which is needed for the construction of the dam.
