Terex has expanded its Super Quiet line of generators with the addition of the T45. Targeted at rental applications the T45 has an output of 45 kVA (36 kW), single and three-phase, which can be operated simultaneously. Standard are six each single-phase and three-phase output voltages, while 600 V three-phase is an option. The T45 is powered by a Tier II compliant four-cylinder 4JIT2 Isuzu engine rated 66 hp (at 1800 min-1). The fuel tank holds 64 gallons and a 75 % run time under load gives 29 hours of operation, Terex claims. The fuel tank is incorporated into the generator's structural base, which means the fuel stays with the generator, not the trailer. This and the standard automatic start mean it can be rented as a mobile power source or used for permanent power applications.
