Weighing in 32.6 tonnes, Rocksters new R1100 impact crusher has been developed as a result of demands for a larger unit that could be used across a wider range of applications.

According to Rockster CEO Wolfgang Kormann: "Our existing series of mobile crushers, with the 26 tonne R900 as the largest machine, has already proved themselves. However, additionally we got more and more requests from our distribution partners for a bigger machine, covering a wider market segment. The target : a crusher that strill features compact transport dimensions but at the same time boasts a performance level of close to 350 tonnes per hour, adequate for covering major projects."

The new machine features a 2 step pre-screen that is 1.8 m (5.9 ft) to ensure optimised pre-scrreening quality but also an increase in throughput rate, reduced wear levels as well as good earth removal for the input flow.
