Ramirent buys small Swedish accommodation specialist

Ramirent is to acquire Swedish portable accommodation rental company Consensus Entreprenad.

Consensus, which was founded in 1993, has annual sales of about €2.8 million, eight employees, and a single outlet in Karlskoga. Ramirent said it was a leading company in its local market and also among industrial customers elsewhere in Sweden.

Peter Dahlsten, senior vice president for Ramirent Sweden, said the acquisition would strengthen its product offering to industrial customers; "We welcome Consensus into the Ramirent team and are pleased with the new competencies that this acquisitions brings to us as well as expanding our network further."

Tommy Boström, managing director of Consensus Entreprenad, said; "We were looking for a strong owner in order to further develop and improve our long-term customer relationships."

Ramirent now has 81 outlets in Sweden.
