Ramirent signs five-year deal with Empower in Finland

Ramirent has signed a five year outsourcing rental agreement in Finland with Empower, the power and telecommunications company. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.

The equipment being outsourced to Ramirent includes generators, cable trolleys, fibre welding equipment, cable radars, testers and tools. The fleet will expand Ramirent’s existing offering to industrial customers.

Empower is a Finland-based company that builds and maintains electricity and telecom networks and installs ICT (information and communications technology) systems in Finland, Sweden and the three Baltic States. More than half of its €325 million revenues last year were generated in Finland.

Eero Auranne, CEO and president of Empower Group, said; “With this fleet outsourcing agreement Empower can further improve focus on its core business. By co-operating with Ramirent in fleet management we gain clear operational advantages enabling us to further improve the quality of our services to customers”.
