Ramirent will take over the management of the equipment operated by Caverion plc in Finland under an agreement to be signed in October with Caverion and YIT Equipment Ltd.

Caverion designs, builds and maintains buildings, including industrial facilities. It was previously the YIT Building Services and Industrial Services business within YIT Corp until it was demerged on 30 June this year.

The operations being outsourced to Ramirent employ 20 people – who will be managed by Ramirent – and generate revenues of €5 million each year. In addition, Ramirent Finland and Caverion plan to sign a co-operation agreement for equipment rental and services in Finland.

Magnus Rosén, CEO of Ramirent, said; “Our aim is that we will meet and fulfil Caverion’s expectations for world class equipment rental services and to build a long term relationship that benefits both parties.”

Ramirent had annual sales of €167 million in Finland last year and a network of 76 outlets.
