Eric Ramsey has been named sales engineer for Sellick Equipment Limited. In his new role, he will work with OEMs to develop new products – including attachments and power modules – to enhance Sellick's position in the marketplace.

Ramsey first joined Sellick in 1974 as chief engineer. In 2001, he went to work for Major Equipment and then later held a position at Sweepster.

He will be based out of Dexter, MI to allow easy travel to customer facilities but remains in close proximity to Sellick's plant in Harrow, Ontario, where he visits weekly.

For the past 22 years, Ramsey has been a member of the Rough Terrain Forklift Council Engineering Committee, serving as chairman for the last five years. He also serves as chairman for the AEM Truck Mounted Forklift Council. Most recently he has been active in the establishment of ISO rough terrain forklift standards that are developed under ISO TC110.
