Software developer Result Group has announced the release of its Asset Controller module for its rentalresult product. The UK-based company said the addition brings key fleet information together at one place.

The software now allows better planning and asset visibility, said Result Group. It builds upon the company's current T-card application, combining immediate status and current repair information with the planning capabilities of a resource allocation tool.

Users can create new work orders, process existing due services, allocate / de-allocate an asset to a rental contract or sales order or simply use one of 40 different business filters to identify key issues, such as assets with outstanding services, or assets overdue for return from rental.

"It began with a need to provide a simple, visual view of what is happening now and in the future for an asset, and kept extending as we talked to customers and prospects. Now it offers an incredible wealth of information and interaction at a single mouse click, simplifying asset management for our customers and their staff" says Ian Kelly, Innovations Director at Result Group
