Presiding over ESTA's flagship event, which was held during the Bauma exhibition, was Christian-Jacques Vernazza, ESTA president, who presented the traditional 12 awards to winners in four categories.

Awards were presented to member companies for projects completed in the last 12 months and considered by judges as being especially worthy of merit according to a range of criteria.

The awards were divided into transport or lifting-related projects and each subdivided into two categories according to size and weight. First, second and third place were given in each category.

In addition to the Job Awards, was the ESTA Personality Award, which was presented to Otto Rettenmaier from TII Group.

This year there were also two new awards for innovation and product development.

ESTA Personality award went to Otto Rettenmaier from TII Group, owner of Scheuerle, Nicolas and and Kamag specialized transport equipment manufacturers.

The ESTA Innovation Award went to Manitowoc Crane Group for its new Grove GTK1100 crane.

The Development Award went to Liebherr for its LTM 11200-9.1, the largest capacity, and longest telescopic boom, mobile crane in the world.
