European rental company Riwal has purchased six JLG 1850SJ boom lifts, the company announced at APEX.

"When JLG came out with the 1850, we immediately noticed this impressive machine," said Norty Turner, CEO of Riwal."I went up in the 1850 and I love it."

Riwal analyzed the rental opportunities for JLG's 185-foot (58.6 m) machine and signed the order books for six of the units. JLG introduced the 1850SJ during ConExpo 2014.

According to sources, the purchase was the largest order for 1850SJs outside of the United States.
