Austrian crushing specialist Rubble Master has posted a record 27% increase in turnover for its 25th anniversary year of 2016 – and is aiming for more of the same in the year ahead.

The company’s sales rose from €47 million (US$50 million) to €60 million ($64 million), an increase of almost three times the 9.5% the company declared 12 months ago. Its workforce also increased from 125 to 135 in the same period.

A company statement attributed the growth to “successful expansion of the sales network with responsible customer and supplier relationships. The intention is for this high growth to be continued in 2017 with the successful expansion of the global sales network in Asia, America and Australia.”

CEO Gerald Hanisch added: “We have managed to grow our business activities in Asia and Australia in particular thanks to some new dealers with strong local ties.

“As a company which exports 95% of its products we are conscious of our local roots. The supplier strategy, which is based on sustainability, is a further development of our CSR (corporate social responsibility) strategy which we already practise in respect of our employees, customers and products.

“We aim to take this development even further in the coming years.”

Rubble Master, which has 70 sales partners worldwide, shipped more than 170 mobile crushers from its Linz headquarters in 2016, including its sales to Nepal and Indonesia.

It also launched its Spec2App solution to fulfil multiple requirements with a single crusher.
