Germany-based Ruthmann introduced three further truck mounts at APEX, following the announcement it would introduce the 40 m working height T 400 at the show.

One of the new machines, the 48 m working height T 480, is the highest model in the manufacturer's Height Performance range that it offers on a 2-axle truck.

There are now six models in the height performance series with working heights from 38 m to 72 m. The manufacturer says it has sold more than 100 units of the range since the first model, the 46 m T 460, was introduced just over two years ago.

The T 480 follows a realisation that the market now requires a 48 m working height machine on a two axle chassis, and has been on the drawing board for some time, said the company.

More developments to Ruthmann’s range are also at the show. The 23 m Steiger T 230 and 19 m T 190 are scheduled to make their debut in the third quarter of 2014, but are on the Ruthmann stand for the first time and are ready to take orders.

More details about all three machines are available at APEX, wich takes places 24-26 June at the Amsterdam RAI in the Netherlands. Visit www.apexshow.com for more details
