Gardemann took delivery of 50 Ruthmann Steiger models in 2015. Another 35 units will be added to the fleet in 2016.

Lavendon Group has invested in its fleet with a range of Ruthmann truck mounts, with an order value of €7.3 million.

It includes the addition of five Steiger T 330 models on 7.49 tonne chassis for its UK-based Nationwide Platforms business. Nationwide will also receive two Steiger T 285 HV 10 models in the 10 tonne category. Compared to the standard version on a 7.49 tonne chassis, the main advantages can be found in the narrower support mechanism without restricting the performance.

The lion's share of this record order will be delivered to Germany-based Gardemann. A total 29 Steiger models, with working heights from 17m to 33m, mounted on 3.5 tonne and 7.49 tonne chassis, will soon be enhancing Gardemann’s rental line-up. The order also comprises half a dozen larger truck mounted work platforms, up to the T 630 from the Height performance series. This model features a working height of 63 metres.

Six Steiger T 170 models, Ruthmann’s latest launch, will also be included. This new model features a working height of 17 m, a synthetic basket, vertical supports, and a basket load capacity of 350 kg. The 7.49 t chassis gives the T 170 a generous payload capacity, making it suitable for municipal applications.
