Saudi metro applications for Haulotte

Haulotte has 150 booms are working onsite on the largest metro project in Saudi Arabia.
The high booms supplied by Roots Group Arabia (RGA) to the Saudi Arabian government project in Riyadh, which will cost $22 billion. It will result in a fully automated driverless Metro system with a length of close to 176 km across six lines with 85 stations.
The ArRiyadh New Mobility consortium was awarded the contract to design and build Line 3 - the longest at 40.7km and with 22 stations. The FAST consortium, led by Spanish construction group FCC and including Samsung C&T, Alstom, Strukton, Freyssinet Saudi Arabia, Typsa and Setec, is to build lines 4, 5 and 6.
A majority of the Haulotte booms working on the project are 20m, 26m and 41m working height articulated machines, while the HT23RTJ telescopic boom is also present.
The subway is set to open in 2018.
