CTE has launched a new track mounted platform, the Traccess 160, which represents the first in a new series.

The 16m height spider lift has a 7.9m outreach and 250kg capacity and offers features usually associated with larger models. The CAN-bus electrical system is similar to CTE’s truck mounted platforms, which are equipped with the S3 EVO system. It means management of rental fleets can be optimised with truck and tracked platforms using the same system.

With its updated jib function, the 160 can be used with the jib open on sloping ground or on ramps, while keeping the vehicle stable. Its remote control can be used on the ground or in the basket and the model is equipped with a graphic display that provides all necessary information.

On request, the double solution of radio control and fixed controls in the basket is also available as an option. Automatic stabilization is also standard, as is self-centering and the home function.

In addition, automatic basket levelling, ramps, proportional maneuvers, double travel speed, lowering and widening of the tracks are included in the package.

A range of power options are available: a Honda iGX390 diesel engine, Lombardini engine or full electric version.

The 160 will be soon accompanied by other larger siblings, said CTE.
