UK access equipment rental firm Smart Platform has opened a new branch in Dartford, Kent, serving London, Kent and Essex.

Located close to the M25 highway, the new branch runs a fleet of truck mount, van mount and tracked access platform.

The Dartford centre is also home to Smart’s latest training academy, which specialises in work at height courses. “Training has proven to be an extremely successful additional service that we offer. As with all of our sites, the London East branch can offer IPAF training on self-propelled boom and scissor lifts as well as our vehicle mounts. We also offer PASMA accredited portable tower training and even ladder training for clients who don’t use powered access,” explained Guy Willett, commercial director at Smart.

The Dartford depot complements the Hemel Hempstead branch, which serves north London and the Homes Counties. Smart also operates sites in Sutton Coldfield, serving the Midlands, and also Manchester supporting the North West.
