Socage back in Bahrain

By Maria Hadlow17 July 2012

Socage has made its first sale in Bahrain for some years delivering the first DA320 to Adliya Contracting Est. The last sale in Bahrain was in 2006 when two T20 Kits were bought by the same company.

Adliya Contracting Est deals with excavation contracts, fabrications and, through its Plant Hire Division, supplies equipment and services to the construction industry and national utility companies.

The sale is significant to Socage, not only marking the reopening of the Bahrain market to the Group, but also for the Adliya Contracting Est's customers such as: has Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Ministry of the Interior (MOI), Electricity & Water Authority (EWA), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Public Works and the National Guards of Bahrain.

DA320 is a double articulated aerial platform with a working height of 20m, an outreach of 9.5m and a safe working load (SWL) of 225kg (2 operators + tools) in an unrestricted working envelope.

The DA320 is equipped with Socage's Easylift stabilisation system, which stabilises the vehicle using a single lever reducing the set-up time and making the process easy even for inexperienced operators.
