Italian manufacturer Socage Srl reported a turnover of €34.5 million in 2011 - an increase of 21% on 2010.

Socage said that its success was due to the product quality and aftersales service that it provided tits Italian and international customers.

Fiorenzo Flisi, chief executive officer of the company anticipates continual growth in 2012. He said, "In cooperation with an insulated aerial platform manufacturer, we have just opened a South American sales office called GS Industria e Comercio de Equipamentos Hidraulicos LtdA in Piracicaba - Brazil and we are sure it will deliver significant results."

Socage said it is planning to launch more new products this year, both at Intermat in Paris and at SAIE in Bologna, Italy later in the year.
