Wrexham-based rental firm SOS Plant Hire has expanded its fleet of site dumpers with the addition of two TA9 models and a TA3SH swivel-skip from Mecalac.

The company, which provides an extensive range of equipment on short or long-term hire to customers across Wrexham, Chester, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Shropshire, the Wirral and Merseyside, has also placed an order for two one tonne TA1 units.

Supplied by Norwest Plant, Mecalac’s official dealer for the North-West of England and North Wales, the new dumpers will be delivered over the coming weeks, according to SOS Plant Hire.

Sean O’Sullivan, founder of SOS Plant Hire, said: “Mecalac site dumpers offer adaptability and innovation as standard. Consistently a favourite among our customers, their flexibility and versatility are revered by operators.

“When it came to further expanding our fleet, we reached out to the team at Norwest Plant. Having worked closely with the team over a number of years, we knew they’d help to pick out the best machinery to suit our needs.

“With three of the five units ordered already on-site and available to our customers, we’re delighted with our decision. The Mecalac units are the perfect addition to our fleet and we look forward to seeing them operational across the region over the coming months.”

Jonathan Campbell, managing director of Norwest Plant, added: “We have a great working relationship with Sean and the team at SOS Plant Hire, so when they approached us for assistance in further expanding their fleet, we were more than happy to help.

“The Mecalac site dumper range is designed with productivity in mind. From robust design to unmatched durability, Mecalac machinery delivers impressive performance across a range of applications.”
