UK-based mobile crane hire and contract lifting firm Southern Cranes & Access has just taken delivery of an LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane. It will soon be joined by a Liebherr LTM 1095-5.1 mobile crane.

Both cranes are equipped with a double fly jib and Liebherr’s VarioBase variable support base system.

The LTM 1130-5.1 has a 60 m telescopic boom with a 14 m telescopic boom extension. According to Liebherr, the 130 tonne machine also has compact dimensions.

The LTM 1095-5.1 has a 58 m telescopic boom and a maximum load capacity of 95 tonnes.

“We are delighted to have taken delivery of our third Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1,” said Kelvin Prince, director, Southern Cranes & Access. “We have found this machine to be very versatile on site allowing extremely tight operations to be carried out. We also are looking forward to receiving our second Liebherr LTM1095-5.2. Both machines complement our fleet profile perfectly.”
