Superlift Material Handling ToolMan, being used as a personnel lift

Superlift Material Handling Inc. has introduced the ToolMan, a dual-purpose scissor lift with a 16 feet working height.

As well as a man lift, the TooLMan can be used as a material lift for loads of up to 2000 lbs and act as a tool buddy on all types of construction and industrial sites.

“One tool can now handle on-site personnel as well as sprinkler pipe, venting, lighting, or any overhead material that has to be placed to this work height,” said a spokesman from the Canada-based manufacturer.

As a man lift, the TooLMan is available as push around or self-propelled in 10, 12 and 16 foot working heights. Accessories include a rotating platform, pipe handler, tool caddy, and bag dumper. Stainless steel models are available for clean room applications, while EX versions are designed for pharmaceutical, chemical and energy companies.

“The TooLMan is the perfect tool for small industrial and institutional maintenance departments where budgets are limited. The versatility of the TooLMan will replace two or three lifts as well as reduce injuries with trying to lift heavy items by hand or less stable lift assists.”

Additional options will be announced soon. Superlift added that it is looking for distributors, sales agents and dealers for the entire manlift/vertical lift product line.
