Japan-based Tadano has opened a sales and service facility in Sydney as part of its expansion of Tadano Oceania in the Australian market.

Crane industry veteran Graham Cooper, who has served Tadano as sales manager for New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania from Sydney for a number of years, heads up the new facility.

“The market requested that we had a strong presence in Sydney and we have responded in a timely manner. We’re confident that the market will embrace and support our initial offering to enable it to grow quickly,” Cooper said.

The new Tadano branch office is located close to the M7 Freeway, a 45-minute drive from Sydney Airport. The facility offers administration and meeting facilities, undercover crane storage and workshops. There is also room for further expansion.

The facility already has a number of Tadano models in stock ready for customer inspection and immediate delivery. The facility also offers a workshop, where routine maintenance, service and repair work can be carried out.
