Takuma construction uses Ainscough mobile cranes and transport

Ainscough Crane Hire in the UK provided a fully managed crane and transport service for Takuma on an Energy from Waste construction project near Heathrow Airport west of London.
The EfW plant incinerates household waste to generate power. The project planning phase lasted about six months during which craneage and erection schemes were formulated.
The construction phase lasted about a year. An Ainscough management team work closely alongside Takuma on site to deliver "safe and innovative craneage and transport services for the project," according to Ainscough.
Lifting equipment supplied ranged from 25 tonne capacity city cranes to a 500 tonne capacity Liebherr wheeled telescopic mobile.
On the transport side Ainscough provided a serviced laydown area comprising manpower, transport to receive equipment and material from all over Europe, offload to storage, reload when required and transportation of the equipment and materials from the temporary storage area to the construction site for erection.
One of the last lifts was to remove some 75 m high chimney covers using a 250 tonne capacity Liebherr LTM 1250-6.1 telescopic crane with 72 m boom and 22 m swing away fly jib.
