Denmark-based TCA Lift has delivered two Falcon Spider machines to Baku Airport in Azerbaijan for maintenance work at its new terminal.

The order included a Falcon Spider FS290 with a 29 m working height and a Falcon Spider FS320Z with 32 m working height and a Z-boom, up and over function.

The new terminal in Baku International Airport is designed to handle three million passengers annually, with passenger operations spread over two floors. The ground level will be serviced by the FS320Z, while the FS290 wheel version is to be used to maintain the shopping and leisure areas on the first floor.

Brian Falck Schmidt, sales manager at TCA LIFT, said, "The Falcons were chosen due to the dual power system and the double jib. It was clear from the beginning that the double jib offers nothing but perfect access to the triangular shape of the building with its rounded edge and semi transparent roof.”
