Lee Vickers, product safety & compliance manager for the European, Middle East, Africa, Russia r

Terex AWP has named Lee Vickers as its first product safety & compliance manager for the European, Middle East, Africa, Russia region (EMEAR).

Based in the UK, Mr Vickers will be responsible for providing product safety and regulatory compliance support for Genie product customers in EMEAR, as well as for Terex AWP technical service managers and product safety.

He will focus on increasing resolution speeds on product safety and compliance issues as well as streamlining and simplifying communication with external authorities and customers. Mr Vickers will report directly to Joe George, vice president and managing director, Terex AWP and to Rick Curtin, director of product safety, Terex.

Mr Vickers first joined Genie in 1996 as a service engineer covering field product support in the UK and Ireland, as well as some areas of mainland Europe. His career has seen him hold senior engineer, service manager and technical service manager roles.
