Terex expands its operation in Dubai.

Terex Equipment Middle East is expanding and relocating to a larger facility.

The company set up an office in Dubai in 2007 to support customers of the Genie range of aerial work platforms and telehandlers as well as Terex light towers, generators, power buggies, utility trucks and transport trailers. The new premises, in the Dubai Investments Park, is close to the Jebel Ali airport and consists of 3250 m2 (35,000 sq ft) of office and warehouse space. It will contain a selection of equipment and will stock parts for a faster response to local requirements.

Bradley Abrahams, sales director for Terex Equipment Middle East LLC, said, "We are very pleased that our growing base of successful customers of Genie and Terex equipment has driven the need to expand our operations. With this investment in our new facility and in additional sales and technical support team members, we are now better positioned than ever to serve them."

Gianluca Tabarrini, Terex president for Middle East/Africa, said, "Terex has a strong commitment to the region and Terex Equipment Middle East LLC will act as a local support centre across all the four Terex business segments. With this common base, we are not only strengthening our presence but also increasing the level of support we deliver to our Terex and Genie customers."
