Terex's new 100 tonne capacity truck crane, the Roadmaster 8000

New from Terex Cranes is the 100 tonne capacity Roadmaster 8000 truck mounted crane.

Mounted on a five axle commercial truck chassis, the two main boom options are 59.4 and 50 m. Maximum system lengths are 81.7 and 77 m, respectively. As a taxi crane, roadable without additional transport, applications include crane rigging, residential construction, equipment placement and general crane rental.

Capacity is 7 tonnes at 20 m radius on full boom and with 9.1 tonnes of onboard counterweight within the 12 tonnes per axle load limit. The Roadmaster 8000 can tow what is needed for its full 23.9 tonne counterweight configuration on a standard trailer.

The 2.55 m wide carrier is 10.6 m long and the overall length is 13.25 m. Standard truck components are used for easier servicing, repairs and getting spare parts.
