Terex names new rough terrain leader

Terex Cranes has appointed Giancarlo Montanari to the position of business line leader for Terex rough terrain cranes.

Based out of the Terex rough terrain cranes’ manufacturing facility at Crespellano, Italy, Giancarlo will support the execution of an aggressive and successful distribution strategy for Terex Rough Terrain Cranes, provide strong contribution and leadership for new product roadmaps, and ensure the team excels in providing customer facing support.

“Giancarlo’s appointment is part of our ambitious growth strategy for Terex Cranes, representing a renewed focus on our rough terrain cranes product line,” said Marco Gentilini, vice president and general manager, Terex Cranes. “He brings a wealth of experience in the global machinery industry, both in developing distribution and creating successful customer support strategies. His experience will be a great asset as he works to drive our rough terrain cranes product line forward, which will greatly contribute to our long-term growth and success.”

Giancarlo has a strong and successful commercial background, coming from his most recent role at Argo Tractors, where he was the European sales manager while also having responsibility for the Turkish office.
