WUMAG in Germany has developed a range of three ‘premium’ van mounted aerials with platform heights of 11 m, 12.5 m and 14.0 m. Available from the middle of this year, the three van mounts will all feature CANbus controls and have been designed to provide end users with a comfortable working environment. Stefan Kulawik, WUMAG's sales director, said the vans would be targeted at power utilities and local government and also rental companies, although rental will not be the main focus. The smallest model, the WDT 110 pictured here, has a fixed fly jib, while the two larger models will both have movable jibs.
